Jonathon Kalama, M.S.
Clinical Audiologist
Jonathan grew up in sunny southern California, specifically in the city of Whittier. He pursued his education at Brigham Young University and California State University, Los Angeles, gaining the unique perspective of both conservative and liberal academic environments.
Jonathan’s journey to becoming an audiologist was serendipitous. Without any personal ties to hearing loss, he discovered the profession through the advice of a professor who saw his potential for the field. Taking that advice turned out to be a life-changing decision.
As an audiologist, Jonathan dedicates his days to helping individuals address their hearing challenges. He spends his time evaluating patients’ hearing difficulties and crafting personalized solutions to improve their quality of life. His favorite part of the job is witnessing the joy when someone hears sounds they haven’t experienced in years—a truly rewarding moment.
Outside of his professional life, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family. One of his favorite activities is taking his five-year-old grandchild to Lowe’s for the kids’ workshops on Saturdays, creating cherished memories along the way.
