Our Charity Work
We know there is an investment needed for exceptional hearing care and not everyone has the means to do so. That is why we support numerous programs that can aid individuals in achieving optimized hearing.
From the Gift of Hearing Campaign to the Department of Rehabilitation and the Ear of the Lion Foundation, we try to help those in need.
The Gift of Hearing
In partnership with our hearing aid manufacturers, we provide complimentary hearing care and technology to those who do not have the financial resources to invest in themselves.
To be awarded The Gift of Hearing, an individual must be nominated by a friend, family member, or organization (you cannot nominate yourself). Currently, one recipient per year is chosen. If you or your organization has someone who you would like to nominate for this program, please contact our office about the nominating process.
Visalia Hearing Center & The Ear of the Lion Foundation
Not everyone has the financial means to obtain affordable hearing aids, especially those who earn just a little too much to qualify for state-sponsored care (Medi-Cal).
Visalia Hearing Center has partnered with The Ear of the Lion Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, to aid those who qualify with very low-cost hearing aids and related services.
Reconditioned hearing aids are loaned to the individual at the price of $150 per hearing aid. The team at Visalia Hearing Center will then properly fit the technology following all the best practice guidelines and teach the patient the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful hearing aid wearer.
