Did You Know?
Oticon was founded in Denmark in 1904 after Hans Demant searched for a hearing device to help his wife hear again. Today, Oticon is part of the global Demant Group, headquartered near Copenhagen, with hearing solutions available in more than 130 countries. It's a heritage of innovation that continues to shape Oticon's latest hearing aid technology.
Our Hearing Aid Fitting & Repair Services
Our commitment to helping you achieve your better hearing goals reaches beyond just providing you with Oticon hearing aids. Because we know hearing aids alone won't offer you what you're really looking for.
Customized Fitting:
We ensure your prescriptive devices are fit/programmed following best practices, including real-ear measurements (REM), because you deserve better than the generic, out-of-the box settings that all volume-based hearing aid business use. During your one-on-one, in-person fitting appointment with a Doctor of Audiology, you are taught how to use and care for your devices. Then, through a series of follow up visits, we walk side-by-side with you through your acclimatization process (what lay people call the "getting used to it period") to make your transition back to hearing as smooth as possible. Yes, better hearing is a process and we'll be there with you every step of the way.
Routine Preventative Maintenance:
If you're using your hearing aids like you should (on average 8 or more hours per day), you're going to need this. Preventative maintenance is a crucial step to long-term success with hearing aids, is overlooked by the majority of places that sell hearing aids, is the #2 reason that patients are unsuccessful with their hearing aids (behind lazy programming) and is an area that Visalia Hearing Center is known for excelling. Patients who follow a preventative maintenance program (typically every 6 months) report much higher satisfaction rates than those who don't.
Why Should You Trust Visalia Hearing Center?
We’ve helped hundreds of individuals with hearing loss in Visalia and the surrounding Tulare county communities hear and communicate better by offering solutions to adequately address their unique hearing needs. You don't have to take our word for it, take theirs.
